ESI was founded in 1974 as a full service mechanical contracting & engineering firm specializing in heating and air conditioning systems and service. Servicing clients in MA, RI, CT, ME, NH, and VT, Robert Elliott and Richard LaPorte were dedicated to exceeding clients’ needs and expectations. The principles on which they built the company remain its driving force today. Every member of our firm – from engineer to technician, administrator to senior management – is committed to client satisfaction. It is a commitment that we demonstrate daily, in every department and on every jobsite.

We specialize in construction and service for commercial buildings, laboratories, health care & medical diagnostic facilities, and institutional facilities of every type. To keep pace with our clients’ evolving requirements, we have continually developed cutting-edge capabilities, added new departments, and expanded services. While building our heating and air conditioning contracting company, we have built long term relationships with both our staff and our clients located in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
