ESI has a highly trained and specialized mechanical engineering department dedicated to the design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for clients located in MA, RI, CT, ME, NH, and VT. We use the latest in CAD and computer aided drafting systems, modeling technologies and engineering related calculation and software programs.

Our in-house capabilities include:

• In-House Mechanical Engineering - a true design entity, including a registered Professional Engineer/LEED AP and a CAD drafting/design team.
• Control Capabilities - complete in-house design and development of custom HVAC control systems.
• 3D Modeling and Visualization - utilizing Autodesk Revit - the latest in 3D modeling and visualization and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Using Revit, our Mechanical Engineering department can design in 3D or import standard two dimensional drawings that contain 3D information, to create accurate three dimensional renderings.

Taking advantage of Revit’s infrastructure component clash detection, our ESI team can recognize potential component collisions before the design goes into the construction phase of the project.  Without clash detection, these collisions would typically add unexpected and unwelcomed costs.
